Lemon Lake

Living in Colorado has its perks. One perk is all of the beautiful areas to go camping. About 2 hours from where we live sits Lemon Lake and nestled behind the lake are some great camp sites. We picked one near a river and settled in. After all of the traveling we did recently it was so nice to just take some time to ourselves. We were planning to get some fishing in but the river was running way too fast so we decided to just kick back and relax. Recon had a great time exploring and even found a seemingly delectable bone. Fun fact: did you know that on dodge trucks you can use the metal piece in the door to open bottles?! Something new that Rob taught me and I thought it would be fun to share. No cell service was great because we got to really unplug and enjoy some peace in nature with each other. This trip reminded us both why we started building the truck to begin with. Having the truck set up the way it is gives us the ability to reconnect with nature and each other. It can be so easy to get caught up the the craziness of life, we forget sometimes how important these simple trips really are.
